GEOsat Gmbh, a member of the GEOHAUS Group initiated and coordinates the government – funded project “Field2Factory”. The ministry of economy (Minister Mrs. Thoben) and the ministry for Innovation (Minister Prof. Pinkwart) elected “Field2Factory” as project of the Month.

Project partners are ZUTRA – Speditionsgesellschaft GmbH, Köln, belonging to the House of Pfeifer & Langen KG and AED-SICAD AG in Bonn. The technological goal is the coupling of a central GIS of the industrial utilizer and commercializer with the decentral information of farmer, service agent and carrier. The complex interaction will be digitally mapped and radically smoothed. Beginning with the carrots the project shall open the way for other field fruits. One initial element of the project is Geosat’s “Geobox – smart – System”, which brings in its quality as a robust multi-sensor-vehicle.
